The Power of Love (At Work!): How to Show Appreciation & Boost Your Team

Happy #valentinesday❣️❣️❣️ I had an interesting conversation with a CEO this week about, of all things, 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘.

I was surprised because this is not a topic that comes up very often with the business leaders I know.

It turned out that 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 is one of his company's core values. 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 for their mission. 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 for their clients. 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 for their coworkers.

They are using 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 as a verb.

It's what they do.

It's what they give.

It's how they show up[ even when feeling frustrated, exhausted, irritated, or angry.

I was inspired by this. ✨❤️🎉

How can you show this kind of 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 to your teammates? I have a thought:

Asking #questions and fully #listening to the answers.

Being fully heard and understood is a priceless gift we can give to others so they feel acknowledged and 'seen'.

Taking the time to ask your team about their ideas, feelings, and experiences and to deeply #listen shows how much you value them.

Here are 🔟 Questions Worth Asking to get you started.
